VOB Online gives you access to the full texts in English of the current 2009 edition of the German construction contract procedures, known as the "VOB".

VOB online

Registration and an annual fee are required for access to all texts: Part A (DIN 1960), Part B (DIN 1961) and Part C, also known as "VOB/C" or the "ATVs", the "General technical specifications in construction contracts", comprising a series of 53 standards in all.

The publication of the new editions of VOB Parts A and B has been announced in the Bundesanzeiger (German Federal Gazette) of 15 October 2009 (No. 155a, p. 3549). This means that Section 1 of VOB Part A and Section 1 of Part B, 2009 editions, thus officially come into effect, as does the Vergabeverordnung (VGV) (German Public Procurement Procedures Regulation), which makes reference to Section 2 of VOB Part A.
